During my morning walk, I noticed the fragrant smell of honeysuckles. Memories of my childhood flooded my mind as I saw myself as a girl immersed in the succulent taste of the juice across my palate.
As I walked, I noticed how quickly the trees and flowers had grown and shed there colorful white and pink fruit to bright green in a matter of days and weeks.
The sounds of nature were clear. The birds sang loudly.
The trees rustled their leaves in the cool breeze.
The sun shone brightly.
The Ducks and the Geese shared the lake in harmony.
I recalled my fascination watching a mother goose from my window sitting on her nest waiting for her babies. She was content at being still while others, around her, were flying and swimming. When it was near time for the birth, the mother would get up stretch, dip in the water while watching her nest.
I noticed the authority and order lovingly demonstrated as I watched what I presume to be the father watching and protecting her from harm if others got to close to her perfect nest in my back yard. After the birth of the babies, both parents guide the babies. One in the front and one in the back until they grow up and leave.

I am thankful for the time to see the perfection of nature at work from my window. I was so excited when the 6 babies arrived. It was as if one of my family gave birth. Unfortunately, one egg did not hatch.
The preservation of this planet is a priority. We all have a moral responsibility to care for the earth and each other.
Peace and Love,
